Funkhana, this ring is aimed at the children just starting out, who can have assistance form parents if needed, even if its for moral support the first couple of times. Basic workouts will be given and the judge will only really ask them to do what they feel comfortable with.
Funkhana lineup for prettiest mane and tail
Instructional, this ring is for novice riders, novice horses, and those who are ready to get out of the Funkhana ring or have never been hacking before and are daunted by the Open Ring. The Instructional Ring combines some teaching and tips with judging and much encouragement. If you are bringing a young horse feel free to participate in both the instructional ring and the open ring.
Working out for Supreme Champion
The Open Ring is for the more experienced riders and horses, who do compete on a more regular basis. If you have been placing at agricultural shows this is the ring for you.
