Frequently Asked Questions
Heather Moffett's best selling book and video "Enlightened Equitation - Riding in True Harmony with your Horse " have helped thousands worldwide to improve their riding, competition results and partnership with their horses.
For the first time, Heather is in Australia to present her Enlightend Equitation Seminar on Saturday March 18th at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsely Park (indoor arena).
Heather combines simple but detailed explanation, practical examples and ridden demonstrations with principles based on those of Classical Dressage. (She trained with Nuno Oliveria and Desi Loren). Heather will explain what it means to ‘sit deeper’, ‘relax your lower back’ or ‘follow the movement’ and you will come away knowing how to do it.
Volunteers will use her Equisimulator - a machine that simulates the movement of the horse to improve riders' sitting trot, balance problems or crookedness.

We strongly recommend that those attending on the 19th also attend the seminar on the 18th to gain the pre-requisite knowledge to get the most out of Heather's teaching.
9 - 5pm A series of 45 minute sessions with riders and horses with specific schooling problems. e.g.
Won’t go on the bit
Difficult to bend
Won’t go off the leg
Have difficulty with good transitions or problems with lateral work
Heather will be talking through and explaining what she is doing to the audience, so that they learn from it, not just giving the rider/horse a lesson.
