Dear Members and Prospective Members,

We are thrilled that Equestrian Australia has recently announced that clubs can resume training events in line with their State COVID19 sport and recreation guidelines. You can read the full article here https://www.equestrian.org.au/news/ea-covid-19-update-0

Our fantastic committee has reactivated the club, and has a number of clinics and training days in our calendar already! These will all be held in line with both NSW Department of Health and Ku-Ring-Gai Council guidelines and restrictions, and will remain flexible as these restrictions change over the coming months.

We are so pleased to be able to get back to offering our members with these opportunities. You will see some changes, such as club house closed for now, limited rider support people allowed and social distancing in all aspects of the event, however we are still developing fantastic, fun days out.

An important message to our current members who joined both early in the year and also recently, we thank you for your patience and support and am pleased to announce that we are extending your membership until the end of May 2021 – so essentially your 12 month membership starts now!

For anyone looking to join soon we are offering membership on sale from today also valid until end of May 2021.

At the conclusion of membership on the 31st May 2021, a pro-rated 7-month renewal will be available to extend your membership though to December 2021.

Until official competitions are permitted by Equestrian Australia, all of our events will be for members only – to thank you for your support to date.

Should you have any questions or queries due to personal circumstances please reach out to the exec committee at accounts@northsideridingclub.org.au

We hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend filled with happy riding!

Regards,

Northside Riding Club Committee

Dear members,

We hope you have been managing to get plenty of riding in over the last few weeks and are working on your sand dancing moves, your jump grids, and fancy footwork with tremendous success.

During this downtime, we have been hard at work over at the Club House. We’ve been working on some of the projects while we’re “off the horse” so to speak. Our shed got a much-needed makeover with new roller doors being recently installed. This will make it so much easier to access for set up and pack down and should see us through many competition seasons.

There will hopefully be some more good news to share soon on other projects underway.

Over the weekend the government launched COVIDSafe app with the aim to enable us to resume gatherings over time in the not too distant future.

We thank you for your continued understanding and support during this unprecedented time.

Meanwhile, take care and stay safe.

Dear Members:

In accordance with the advice today from Equestrian Australia, we unfortunately, must advise that all competitions scheduled to be held by Northside Riding Club are now suspended until further notice.

The full statement from EA can be found here: https://www.equestrian.org.au/news/ea-covid-19-update

The health, safety and welfare of our community is our highest priority.

Due to rapidly changing Federal and State Government directives, EA is now suspending all EA affiliated competitions until further notice. This does not include activities that are exempt from current State Government restrictions.

Equestrian Australia and its affiliated State Branches will continue to communicate regularly and monitor and reassess the situation as COVID-19 evolves in Australia. We will endeavor to keep Northside members abreast of updates from EA however you can also monitor EA communications directly via the EA website.

The Government’s directive is very clear at this time – stay at home. With restrictions being implemented almost weekly to combat this pandemic EA has advised all members and our equestrian community to follow public health and state regulatory procedures.

We understand COVID-19 is impacting all of us in different ways, including our popular competitions, clinics and training days as well as the valued equestrian businesses and coaches who support our sport.

We look forward to returning to a competition calendar as soon as we can and encourage all members to be ready by continuing your training and practice at home until then.

We thank you for your continued understanding and support during this unprecedented time.
